Switching to decaf doesn't have to mean settling. This fully washed coffee from Peru's Amazonas region proves it — dark chocolate, brown sugar, and a gentle nuttiness lifting the cup in a way you wouldn't expect from a decaf.

Peru is one of the world's great organic coffee producers, its smallholder farmers working high-altitude plots with sustainable, chemical-free methods across a landscape of diverse microclimates. The result is a coffee with real complexity — and it carries that complexity even after the caffeine is gone.

That's down to how the caffeine is removed. The Swiss Water Process — developed in Switzerland, used here — is entirely chemical-free. Green beans are soaked in a proprietary Green Coffee Extract that draws out the caffeine naturally, over eight to ten hours, without stripping the flavor alongside it. The extract is continuously filtered and refreshed, so the beans hold onto everything that makes them worth drinking. The outcome removes 99.9% of the caffeine and leaves the profile — the acidity, the richness, the depth — completely intact.

For anyone who loves coffee but is watching their caffeine intake, this is the honest answer: not a compromise or consolation prize. A decaf that tastes like coffee should.
